I took my little brother (who falls on the autism spectrum) to see Guardians of the Galaxy and after this scene he lit up like a Christmas tree and screamed “He’s like me! He can’t do metaphors!” And for the rest of the film my brother stared at Drax in a state of rapture.

So for the last 6 days I have heard my brother repeatedly quote all of the Drax lines from the movie verbatim (one of his talents), begin studying vocabulary test words, and tell everyone he knows that people with autism can also be superheroes.

Now I am not saying that Drax the Destroyer is, or was ever, intended to be autistic. All I am saying is that it warmed my heart to see my brother have an opportunity to identify himself with a character known for his strength, badassness, and honor. And that is pretty damn awesome.

So while I adored Guardians of the Galaxy as a great fun loving film with cool characters I can do nothing but thank Marvel Studios and Dave Bautista for finally bringing a superhero to the screen that my little brother can relate to.

Google has had some stunning logos over the years, but this one is a showstopper.

I really really love this.

anybody else think of avatar?

Long ago, the websites lived together in harmony…
Then everything changed when Windows Vista attacked!

Only Google, Master of All Search Engines could stop it.
But when the internet needed it most, Google vanished.

Years passed, and a new Search Engine was discovered, a Search Engine named Bing.
And Bing couldn’t search for shit. Everyone died.

And Bing couldn’t search for shit. Everyone died.

This just happened in Seattle. A group of nonviolent protestors in support of Palestine were being harassed by a WHITE MAN, this fucking mall cop comes out and maces and detains a black man WITH NO AFFILIATION TOWARDS EITHER GROUP. RAYMOND WILFORD, AN INNOCENT BLACK MAN JUST WALKING INTO THE WESTLAKE MALL. The protestors are actively telling the mall cop that he MACED THE WRONG GUY, that the black man did nothing wrong, and he still handcuffs him and DENIES him water to flush out his eyes being offered by the protestors. I’m so disgusted. I have been to this area and mall many times in my life and I no longer feel safe going. I hope to god he presses charges and that this scum sucking shitstain loses his job. I’m so scared right now. I’m so fucking scared. Source here, but let the video speak for itself.

He wasn’t an innocent bystander, read your fucking source.

The rest of you, stop blindly rebloging without reading the source.

It says Wilford started to get into a fight with a shirtless shouting man. And the cop only brought him inside, offered him medical aid, and then released him. Also, the cop stayed calm, didn’t engage protesters and didn’t hurt anyone - in anything, the bicycle cop was out of line.

Stop fear mongering and focus on the true reports.
